Gone are the times when we are living with our dinosaur technology. Much like everything else, technology also evolves and we are now facing evolutions after evolutions – or the so called innovations, to be more exact about it. There has been so many things that was granted with this innovation, and climbing the list is also the fax machine.

Fax machine has been a Jurassic contender of our day to day job. It had been one of the biggest requirements in our offices because of the big help that it has given that no other service can easily provide. With fax machines, we could send the documents with our authenticated signatures, probably one of the most important parts of a particular document since it approves the realness of the document. Also, there could also be a bigger freedom in the context of web fax because almost all the documents in hard copy can be faxed, unlike with use of the email where in the document must be in soft copy.

However, with the advent of online fax, these benefits that we could once get with the use of the fax machine can be doubled and even tripled with this new service. Like the internet, online fax enjoys a wide range of possibilities. Since its backbone is greatly connected with the online world, online fax is also a faster choice. The Jurassic time of fax machine is slowly becoming extinct, and it is time to say hello to innovation.

So what does online fax really mean?

Internet fax uses the internet in order to fax. There will no longer be the requirement of using another telephone that will cater to the faxing process. No more calls are required. No more of the traditional. It is now online. As to the documents, the online fax almost always require the use of PDF, TIFF and JPEG formats which can be achieved through the use of scanner or camera. But also, the typical word document that we use in email can also be used in online fax.

With web fax, there is a freedom in sending and receiving at the same time. And it does not only cater a document to be sent and received one at a time but online fax can cater to documents after documents, or simultaneous actions. These documents must not be printed all at once because with the use of online fax, it can be stored to the email. Therefore, we can print and reprint the document. Also, we can choose whether to print it right there and then or save the work for later.

Unlike the former, online fax is being translated into bytes and that means a freer flow of movement in terms of communications. It is then good that we also go with the flow and enjoy the birth of innovation. Besides, those helpful changes are for us to cherish.

We are far now from the Jurassic technology. We are now about to welcome the future.
